What's the point in taking a shower in brown water?
Went to the beach today and actually enjoyed it for the first time. Had a nice little swim and soak in the sea water. Came home to take a shower and the water was nice and brown from the past couple of days of rain. It's just as brown as the water I just finished swimming in. So I thought to myself what is the point in taking a shower in brown water? None

Dominica So Far-Arriving in Dominica

Hello everyone, I apologize I have not blogged since I've arrived in Dominica. I will now update as to everything that has happened since I've been here in the next several posts.
Ok so Mommy and I left Tampa Sunday morning May, 3rd and arrived in Puerto Rico that night. We stayed the night in a hotel near the airport then left for Dominica then next morning. We didn't get to Dominica until about 5pm that evening. They made housing available in RUH for that night and the next morning we went on a housing tour to find the place where I would be living.
Mommy stayed with me for the rest of the week and left that Saturday. We spent the whole week getting me situated with all the administrative stuff for school and what not. We also attended some of the orientations at school.
So that was my first week in Dominica. That Saturday I went on a tour of the Island, not really, we just visited Trafalgar Falls and Scott's Head. Scott's head is a place where the Atlantic and the Caribbean Sea meet. There was a lot of climbing and wet slippery rocks. But it was fun still.

No grades yet
I e-mailed Dr. Coutihno today, one of the program directors, to find out when the grades would be posted. No response and as of 1:56 pm today no grades.

MERP ENDING
MERP is finally coming to an end and it seemed to go by so fast.
My final is this Friday and I have 4 study days left. After the final it will be time to prepare to leave for Dominica. However, I'm really looking forward to going back to St. Pete for a while before I leave. I actually miss my Home Sweet Home....
